Week 18
August 29, 2010
Week eighteen and final week of the St. Marys Trap and Skeet League,
found Steve Wehler (Straub Hot Shots), Tim Meyer (Morgan AM&T), Greg
Mahoney (Veolia) Mark Sporner (Camp Owners) and Chris Kline (Fox
Township) all recording 50 straight in skeet. Mark Sporner and Chris
Kline ended the season with 150 straight.
Morgan AM&T won the third section in skeet with a 5 win 0 Loss record,
resulting in a three way shoot off for the league championship with
Morgan AM&T, Fox Township winner of the second Section and Veolia winner
of the first section.
This shoot off was held on Saturday August 28, at Fox Township with Fox
Township being the home team, Morgan AM&T shot first with Veolia
shooting second and Fox Township third.
Fox
Township and Veolia tied at the end of regular shooting and had to count
down seven scores to determine a winner. Veolia had one more 48 than
Fox Township declaring them the winner by virtue of the count down of
scores.
Bill Kline (Fox Township) and Randy Schlimm (Veolia) record 50 straight
in the skeet shoot off.
The
league and teams in the shoot off would like to thank the Sportsmen team
and anyone that helped officiate the shoot off.
In Trap, Fox
Township Won the Trap Championship, they won both halves of trap.
